Teacher
I graduated high school from Pitkin High School in 2007.
I graduated from college in 2011 from Northwestern State University.
I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education, grades 1-5.
I started teaching at EBE in September 2019. I’ve taught Kindergarten at EBE for 2 years, and this is my second year being in First Grade. I teach all subjects, math, reading, sciene, and social studies.
I started my teaching career at Glenmore Elementary School where I spent two years there, teaching Third Grade and Kindergarten. I then moved to my home school of Pitkin High School. At PHS, I taught Elementary Special Education for a year and 2nd Grade for five years.
I was blessed to marry my amazing husband in October of 2011. Our first child was sadly taken too soon, but she is now a beautiful Angel watching over her siblings. My husband and I were later blessed with 3 more princesses and 1 little prince. They keep us constantly entertained, and we are always busy chauffeuring them to dance or practice for one of the many sports they play.
When I’m not teaching, my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. I also enjoy relaxing on the sofa with some snacks while watching Hallmark movies.
