Hello everyone!  My name is Lauren Jenkins. I am the school counselor here at East Beauregard Elementary (EBE). I am so excited to be at such a wonderful school! I obtained my bachelor’s degree in psychology and my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM). I received my school counselor ancillary certificate through the Louisiana State Department of Education (AN 627078).

I am very thankful to be the school counselor here at EBE. I have so much fun visiting classes and teaching students important positive characteristics and skills! I also enjoy working one-on-one with students to offer encouragement, problem solving, support, and a listening ear.

As the school counselor at EBE, I aim to promote career, academic, and social/emotional development in all students. I aim to encourage students and help promote an environment of kindness throughout the school. I look forward to working with all of you and your children!
