STEAM Lab

S.T.E.A.M. is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math to guide student inquiry, problem solving, collaboration, and creativity.  This type of educational approach helps students become designers, creators, thinkers, and leaders. The United States has developed as a global leader, in large part, because of the genius and hard work of its scientists, engineers, and innovators. In a world that’s becoming increasingly complex, it’s more important than ever for our young students  to be equipped with the knowledge and skills to solve tough problems, gather and evaluate evidence, and make sense of information. These are the types of skills that students learn by studying science, technology, engineering, art, and math—subjects collectively known as STEAM.

Our S.T.E.A.M. Lab focuses on the areas of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics together to build necessary problem solving skills essential for the 21st century learner. All young people should be prepared to think deeply and to think well so that they have the chance to become the innovators, educators, researchers, and leaders who can solve the most pressing challenges facing our nation and our world, both today and tomorrow.

We are so blessed to be able to offer our students access to 3D printing, coding, robotics, engineering activities, digital animation,  and many other fun and exciting activities.  From prek to 5th grade our students have many opportunities to attend our S.T.E.A.M. lab.
