I have been teaching at East Beauregard Elementary since 2012. I began teaching 4^th grade Mathematics and still hold that position today. 

Prior to teaching at East Beauregard Elementary, I was a stay-at-home for 13 years. My love for children, hunger for knowledge, and passion to teach led me to pursue a degree in education. 

My husband, Chad, and I will celebrate our 23^rd wedding anniversary this year. We have two beautiful and intelligent children, Conner and Kara. Conner is an EBHS 2017 graduate and attends McNeese State University. He is a Biology Major with a concentration in Pre-Med and resides in Lake Charles. Kara is a 7^th grade Banner Roll student at East Beauregard Junior High. We love spending time outdoors camping, boating, fishing, and taking care of our animals. My daughter currently has 2 horses, 2 goats, and a donkey. We also have several head of cattle and are in the process of adding a chicken coop. We also love trivia games and attending church together at Texas Avenue Baptist. 

In my spare time, I love being outside taking care of yard work, helping with my husband’s never-ending projects, and watching my daughter take care of her animals. I also like to read, solve puzzles, and play board games. Of course, none of that gets done until my house is clean. Yes, I’m very adamant about keeping a clean house!
