Hi, 2^nd Graders! Welcome to the super official website for Mrs. Slaydon’s 2^nd Grade Class! 

I’d like to share a few websites and online resources with you so that you can continue learning even while at home!  

READING/ELA

ReadWorks  has reading passages with comprehension questions.

Epic! has TONS of books to read and listen to online.

Khan Academy has grammar videos. Search by skill and grade level. (Ex: 2^nd grade collective nouns)

Spelling City has our weekly spelling word lists. You can print a handwriting page, play games, or practice spelling online. 

MATH

Zearn has online lessons that align with the Eureka Math curriculum. Students should login with their username and password. (If you need this info, email me and I can send it to you.) They should be familiar with this site as we use it often in class. 

Eureka Math is currently providing online lessons taught by the creators of the curriculum. They also have resources for parents as well. 

BrainPop Jr. has great short videos on a variety of topics. There are also quizzes at the end, which students love!
