Lynette Wilber Named Beauregard Parish Outstanding Support Employee of the Year

Lynette Wilber has been named the 2022-2023 EBE Outstanding Support Employee of the Year and the 2022-2023 Beauregard Parish Outstanding Support Employee of the Year. She is an amazing custodian and a wonderful person that works hard to make our school campus great for our students and faculty.  Whenever we have visitors they always comment on how clean and nice our campus looks and Lynette is a driving force as to why this is so true.  

What truly makes Lynette so remarkable is that she leaves school each day to go work a second job, then goes home to take care of her house full of children, and then returns to school each morning to start her miracle work all over.  Throughout the day she takes time to visit and make small talk with the faculty members in the classrooms she is cleaning or in the hallways as she passes through.  If someone calls over the walkie-talkie with a student mess such as throw-up or a spill, she will kindly respond with I am on my way.  She truly lives up to the quote “Always deliver more than you are asked to deliver.”

Lynette will be introduced to the school board and honored at the school board meeting on October 13^th at 6:00.
