A RESOLUTION To commend the East Beauregard Elementary School faculty and staff for their dedication to their students and positive impact on their community.
WHEREAS, the COVID-19 pandemic challenged the faculty, staff, and students of East Beauregard Elementary School throughout the past academic year; they stepped up and met the challenge head-on, choosing to continue in-person classes; and
WHEREAS, the faculty and staff play an important role in the lives of their students and provide them with the fundamental skills needed to achieve success in both school and life; and
WHEREAS, the faculty and staff nurture, inspire, and encourage their students; they also help facilitate the students' academic, social, and emotional development; and
WHEREAS, despite the extenuating circumstances of the pandemic, the faculty and staff have worked tirelessly to accommodate their students' most basic needs while also providing for their continued education; and
WHEREAS, the teachers have devoted countless hours to the preparation of lesson plans and delivery of instruction, and they have maintained the development of character, compassion, and creativity in their students; and
WHEREAS, the facultyand staff are most deserving of respect and gratitude for their relentless dedication to their students and positive impact on their community
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the East Beauregard Elementary School faculty and staff for their dedication to their students and positive impact on their community; does hereby recognize the East Beauregard ElementarySchool faculty and staff for overcoming the immense pressure placed on educators by the COVID-19 pandemic; and does hereby extend sincere hopes that they continue to succeed in their amazing work as architects of Louisiana's future leaders.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the principal of East Beauregard Elementary School.
